Ingredients:
- 200g button mushrooms (sliced)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 garlic clove (minced)
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 2 tbsp tahini sauce
- 2 pita breads
- A handful of fresh spinach or lettuce leaves
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method of preparation:
- Heat olive oil in a pan and add garlic. Sauté for 1 minute, then add the mushrooms and oregano.
- Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the mushrooms are soft and slightly browned.
- Season with salt and pepper, and remove from heat.
- Warm the pita bread in a pan or oven.
- Spread tahini sauce inside the pita, fill with mushrooms, crumbled feta, and spinach or lettuce leaves.
- Serve as a light meal or snack, with a side of hummus or a salad.
